Our client, a Kilkenny based Health Care facility currently have a vacancy for a CNM Community Service Manager. The ideal candidates will be flexible in their approach to service provision and have the ability to work as a member of a team. The candidates will also be required to ensure the day-to-day operations are in line with policies and procedures. The role: Manage, motivate, develop, performance manage and lead the staff members within the areas of responsibility. Ensure the appropriate resources are provided to ensure a safe and effective service. Budget management ensuring effective allocation for the services within the area assigned. Ensuring quality and safety management systems in the area of responsibility are of the highest level. Develop strategies, culture and practice within the service alongside the Director of Services. The requirements: Qualification in any of the health and social sciences – Social Care, Social Work, Nursing. A minimum of 5 years supervisory or management experience in the area of Health Care or Disability Services. Working Knowledge of all relevant legislation and HIQA Standards. Excellent Knowledge of person centre community based support and community development. Excellent Knowledge of Disability Services, policy and planning processes. Excellent Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills. Full Clean driver’s license and own transportation.
