EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR EXECUTIVE CHEF IN SOUTH EAST. We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Head or Executive Chef in a renowned hotel in the South East. This role is as exciting as it is challenging as you will be managing multiple high volume outlets. Experience in a similar property is essential for this position with a proven background in banquets, bar food, restaurants and weddings. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 5 years' experience as Head Chef in a 4* or 5* hotel with a proven track record of increasing profitability, training staff and managing a large, busy kitchen. This role is not for someone looking for an admin, Chef Manager position. The role of Executive Chef in this kitchen is very much hands on and focused on providing good quality food alongside a large kitchen brigade. About the role: High volume and banqueting/wedding experience is essential. Experience managing multiple outlets. Must be strong on all financial aspects of a kitchen to include costing of all menus, portion control, ingredient specification, stock control, payroll costs and budgeting etc. Introduce SOP's where required and ensure they are adhered to. Recruit, train and develop the kitchen team. Ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained. Assume full responsibility for the production of food and constantly drive new and innovative menu options.
