EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER, SOUTH EAST. Looking for the next step in your career? This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a team of hotel Sales & Marketing gurus and gain invaluable sales experience. Research new business and maintenance of existing business for the hotels via Telesales and the setting up of sales calls for the Sales Director. Liaise with the Sales Director on a daily basis and assist in sending our corporate contracts. Co-ordinate Mail Shots, invitations for Corporate Events, etc. Liaising with suppliers to finalise advertising, signage, media etc. Deal with general enquiries for hotel information and literature and other relevant administration duties within the Sales Department. Conduct show arounds in the absence of the Sales Director. Maintain all databases including Corporate Accounts, Special Events, Leisure, Groups etc. Analyse accounts and compile reports such as marketing spend, rooms nights, active/inactive accounts and submit to Sales Director on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Assist with site inspections for potential and current corporate accounts. Flexibility is essential to assist the Sales Director with Corporate Entertainment. Social media. The candidate: Excellent organisational skills. Professional phone manner and confident in telesales. Must be flexible to travel between properties, attend client visits and evening client entertainment as required. 1-2 years minimum experience in a hotel sales/marketing/events/reception role. 3rd level degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.
