Hartley People Recruitment are currently recruiting for a QA Manager to join our client, an exciting, innovative pharmaceutical company in South Tipperary. This is a full time and permanent role. The Role: To ensure the development & implementation of the quality management system. Oversee all elements of the Quality Management System including non-conformances, corrective actions, investigations and root cause analysis. Ensure the effective resolution of above Quality issues through relevant processes. Manage the quality team to adequately support the changing product manufacture to ensure GMP responsibilities are adhered to. Ensure the site is maintained at the highest level of hygiene in-line with related industry standards. Drive quality improvement initiatives in conjunction with other relevant departments. Apply a Lean approach for improvements to the Quality System in addition to leading Continuous Improvement activities on site. Working to develop and review quality documentation as required. Ensuring that a compliant, effective Documentation / Change Control System is maintained. Develop and maintain an effective internal audit programme. Manage and develop an internal auditing system to ensure audit readiness at all times. Lead and manage external audits, FDA, HPRA, customer audits etc. Be an important member of the Management Team in the plant. To ensure Product Quality that meets finished product specifications. Additional requirements of the job will be specified by the Director of Quality. The Person: Third level degree in a Science discipline or Quality Management. Pharmaceutical/Healthcare/Medical Device experience essential. Experience of leading and managing a quality team essential. Internal and external Quality Systems Audit experience. At least 5 years + experience in a Quality Assurance environment. Proven track record in senior quality management position(s. Ability to problem solve and create workarounds in addition to a positive attitude.
