EXPERIENCED ASSISTANT SOMMELIER FOR FINE DINING RESTAURANT IN THE SOUTH EAST. We are seeking a qualified Assistant Sommelier to join the team of this renowned fine dining restaurant in the South East.. As Assistant Sommelier, you will report into the Head Sommelier and assist in wine lists, promotions and customer service. For this role we require the following: Minimum WSET level 2 qualified or similar. Experience at a Head Wine Waiter/Supervisory level in a 5* hotel or Michelin Star restaurant. Actively upsell wines to guests and have an excellent knowledge of food and wine pairings. Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written. Have a good understanding of wine and beverage trends. Flexibility on shifts including weekends and evenings. There is a competitive salary on offer for the role with accommodation is required.
