I'm seeking an experienced Buyer Planner for a permanent role at a leading employer in the South East. A degree at minimum but IIPMM or APICS would be great along with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Competitive salary and package on offer for the right candidate. Principal Responsibilities. Support Supply Chain function for raw material requirements. Schedule finished product and mould inventory on designated product families. Support new product introduction (NPI) with product launches. Procurement of key raw materials and packaging components to support plant production. Process purchase requisitions. Expediting / de-expediting purchase orders. Monitoring and Management of inventory levels for key raw materials and packaging components. Providing accurate forecast information to vendors. Support Procurement of Capital and Indirect materials. Executing RFQ’s and regular competitive benchmarking activities. Negotiation and implementation of supply agreements with key vendors. Partner with all internal stakeholders; Customer Services, Export Services, LLC, Operations, IT and Finance. Ensuring compliance with cGMP is adhered to at all times. Requirements. Educated to Degree level – Business / Procurement - or equivalent experience. IIPMM / AIPICs desirable. Ability to use Excel at an advanced level. Experience of using ERP LX / JDA or similar ERP systems. Ability to act as a Team player, or independently, and with multiple activities. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
