What you need to know. You will work as a Senior Market Analyst for our client, an indigenous Irish food company in the South East. You will be joining a team of people who are high performers and continually strive to succeed. You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing and provide insight and knowledge on target markets internationally. This is a permanent job with a highly competitive salary package. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Analyse and interpret key data from targeted international markets. Delivery of key market data and trends analysis. Responsible for generation of customer & consumer insights which, in conjunction with Marketing, Business Development and Innovation functions will inform key strategic projects within the business. Identification of key players within specified markets and delivery of in depth company profiles. Liaise with Sales team to access customer data and formalize insight generation. Technical knowledge & understanding to deliver insight to the business. Ability to undertake brand mapping exercises within specified end markets and geographies to determine competitive landscape and opportunity areas. Utilise online platforms to extract insights from both customers and consumers within target market sectors. Prepare monthly & ad hoc insight reports. Advise on best practice techniques for insight generation within a B2B environment. Form relationships with insight functions in the broader business. What are we looking for? 10 years experience in a similar role. Third level qualification in marketing, business, psychology or related disciplines. Experience in delivering customers and consumer insights to drive strategic initiatives within an export led industry. Proven track record within an insight function in an international B2B environment. Passionate about research methodology and driven to understand market dynamics and what is driving performance. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Good project management skills with the ability to use own initiative. Results orientated and KPI driven.
